DCBD Challenge #130

Well, I am back at it! I'm trying to get into the swing of my new schedule. Always something...
Anywhoo... here is our challenge for the week. Use the Big Shot to create a masterpiece!

Here is the card I came up with. I really like this set. It is a hostess set that will be retiring at the end of this month. It is called God's Beauty. Isn't that pretty. I very pleased with the softness of this card.

Here are some details of the card.

And now the "recipe"!
Ink: Mellow Moss, Apricot Appeal, and Going Gray
Card Stock: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Mellow Moss, Apricot Appeal, and Pink Pirouette (retiring soon...I'll be sad to see this pretty pink go)
Accessories: Top Note die, Birds and Blooms Sizzlets, Soft Subtles brads and Apricot Appeal 1/4" grosgrain ribbon

NOW it's YOUR turn. Try this challenge out and post it to the Diva's site. I hope to see your creation there!

DCBD Challenge #126

Hi Stampers! It is time for the weekly DCBD challenge. This weeks challenge is to use the Big Shot! I love this thing!

Here's what I came up with. Actually this is a CASE from my downline, Kelly! Thanks Kelly for the great idea!

<

This card features the Sunshine Gardern Simply Scrappin' Kit. I love using these kits to make cards, but I never do! Guess it's time to shake things up! I used a base of So Saffron and Certainly Celery ink. I also used a clear rhinestone brad in the center of the flower.

Stamp sets used are Petal Pizzazz and All Holidays.

OK, now it is your turn. Go make a card using the Big Shot, post it on your blog or a gallery, and then go to the Diva's blog and post it using Mr. Linky. Come on, it'll be fun!!!

Wow! What a day!

Have you ever had one of those days when you meet yourself going out the door as your coming in, and everything you do seems to go wrong? Well, that pretty much sums up my day.
But, on to better things. Here is my card for todays Diva Coffee Break Design!

I had a lot of fun with this. A lady at my workshop wanted to keep the "extra" from the top notes die to use in her scrapbook. Well this got me to thinking about a picture card, and here is the result. I just need to make one more to send them out to my two friends. I hope they like them, and I hope you do too. Be sure to check out the other divas! There is so much inspiration out there, and PLEASE play along with us!

Diva Coffee Break Design Team Challenge #118

Hi all! This week the challenge is to use SU fabulous Big Shot to create. This was such a great challenge! Unfortunately, I came down with strep throat and then a stomach bug so my card won't be posted until this evening. However, don't hesitate to hop on over to http://www.divacoffeebreakdesigns.blogspot.com/ and check out the other divas work. Also, be sure to play along with us and post your photo of your design on the website. Looking forward to seeing what you have done!
See you this evening!
