New Catalog Open House

I just realized that I hadn't shared any pictures from the event I went to last week. So here they are....

This is a card I did for splitcoaststampers.com Monday's challenge (TLC207). It was the try a new technique challenge. Not my favorite technique - cutting around an embossed image - but I do like to challenge myself and try new things.
I am going to try to do the SCS challenges more faithfully, but I will be about a week behind! Oh well, better late than never, I always say.
Yesterday we took a family trip to Cabela's! Oh man, what a place! We had the best time just looking around and hanging out together as a family. Although, now I have the itch to get out camping...BAD. Here's hoping spring will be here soon.
Have a great day, and make everyday valentine's day! Tell your loved ones you love them EVERY day.

Hi all! These are a couple of cards I did for the Sparkpeople Stamping to Lose group challenge for LAST week. I am a little behind.

This card needed to have a little sparkle so I pulled out the glitter, and you know how I LOVE glitter. It was everywhere! Oh well, my kids and husband have come to expect a little sparkle after I have been stamping.

I LOVE this card. The colors came from a challenge from my friend Kelly. I love them. When I started, my thought was "what was she thinking?" But, she knows her stuff.
Enjoy!

A Card to Share

Well, today Kelly and I went to a New Catalog/Sale-a-bration open house. It was a day full of stamping, swapping, learning, and just down right fun. I will be down loading some pictures in the next couple of days... Stay tuned.
In the meantime, here is a card to tide you over~

This is a card I did awhile ago, but I think it is my favorite. I love this image of a big old oak tree. It looks so sturdy and dependable. This is from the Lovely as a Tree set.

Sharing a card

I CASEd this card from Dawn McVey. It is so cheerful and sunny. Something I definitly need with the temperatures falling fast. The first card I used a little cupcake stamp.

For this card I use the spray of flowers from Embrace Life. I think it turned out very nice.

I just wanted to say a quick thanks to the ladies who made it to my open house yesterday. It was the best one I have ever had. I love chatting and catching up with each of you!

NEW CATTY OPEN HOUSE

My open house is today from 2-4 PM. I hope you can make it and see the wonderful new catalog. Stampin' Up! has out done themselves this time! You are going to LOVE this catalog!
Here are a couple of the cards we made today. Enjoy!

This card uses a new Level 2 hostess set. The flowers are so soft and pretty and I love the quote by Mother Teresa. To earn this fantastic hostess set or other equally beautiful ones, call me to schedule a workshop at your home or mine! Along with a hostess set you will also earn FREE product of your choosing. And if you book in Feb or March you can take advantage of our Sale-a-bration and earn FREE stamps! What could be better than that?

This card uses the A LITTLE BIRD TOLD ME set. This is such a versitile set and so cute! The sentiments that come with this set covers the gammit. Making it a real value for your money.

This card uses the LOVE YOU MUCH set. I wanted to make a more masculine Valentine's card. My 3 sons and husband really aren't into the pink fro-fro too much!
